Select a Room or Resource for a Meeting


When you schedule a meeting, you can reserve conference rooms and resources (such as overhead projectors) if they are included in your company's directory.

To find and assign a room or resource, do any of the following.

Steps
Search for an available room or resource
  1. Click Find Room or Resource, and then click Find Room(s) or Find Resource(s).
  2. Select the directory to use, and then select a site.
  3. Specify the number of people attending.
  4. Select Limit search to preferred rooms for this site to search only for rooms you specified in the Calendar preferences.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Click a search result, and then click OK to select it.
Reserve a room or resource for the meeting
  1. click Room or Resource
  2. In the Search in field, select the directory to use.
  3. Select a room or resource, and then click Add.
Remove one or more of your selections
Select the name of a room or resource and click Remove, or click Remove all.
View additional information about a room or resource.
Click Details.

Note If you do not have access to rooms and resources, see your administrator.
